My name is Terry Brown, and I am the proud founder of Walled City Tours in Derry-Londonderry, Northern Ireland. Born and raised in the historic Bogside, nestled in the shadow of the iconic Derry Walls, my deep-rooted love for my home city inspired me to share its stories with the world. Known affectionately by my guests as “Terry from Derry,” “Terry Brown from Derry Town,” or even “Lovely Terry from Londonderry,” I always use this light-hearted introduction to set the tone for my relaxed yet highly informative tours.

I earned my National Tourism Certification in May 2000 through the North West Institute of Higher and Further Education, and I’ve been passionately guiding tours for over 20 years. As a proud member of Visit Derry and Tour Guides Northern Ireland, I continually strive to educate myself about local history, uncovering hidden stories and tailoring my tours to the unique interests of my visitors.

My tours are more than just history lessons—they’re personal, entertaining journeys enriched with humor and anecdotes. Whether walking the Derry Walls, exploring the Bogside, or venturing to the breathtaking Giant’s Causeway, Malin Head, or other scenic wonders, I ensure every experience is memorable and engaging.

Recently, I launched my new ‘All Kinds of Everything’ walking tour, combining the Derry Walls and Bogside tours for an immersive dive into Derry’s diverse history and culture.
